Department of Medicine Research Retreats

The event featured research projects by junior faculty, fellows, residents, and medical students affiliated with the Department of Medicine. Each abstract was presented in poster form to allow for project-related discussion between the authors and any attendee. This was unique opportunity for clinical investigators and trainees to meet and discuss collaborative efforts leading to new discoveries on the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of the broadest range of disorders managed by the Department of Medicine.

The program was prepared by Dr. Andras Perl and Rosa Trpcevski with input from the Department of Medicine Research Council (Drs. Ruth Weinstock, Elizabeth Asiago- Reddy, Housam Hegazy, Markus Gutsche, Debanik Chaudhuri, Savio John) and Chief Residents (Drs. Christina DiCorato, Sonica Patel, and Rachael Proumen).
