Because Dr Vertino had 2 students or interns with him, it made my appointment longer than necessary. I understand that they learn a great deal following Dr Vertino but I'd rather just have an appointment with him.

I feel most fortunate to have Dr. Michael Vertino as my Neurologist! He is very caring, but also very bright and 'up on' the latest medicines for my severe migraines. I do not know how I could be so functional (with migraines) without Dr. Vertino!

Physician spent plenty of time with me. He realky understood the depth and changes in my problem. He took time to teach not only me a patient and RN if 25 yrs but a medical student. Dr. Vertino takes all the time we need to discuss my condition and what we are doing to try and find the right solutions. Since I have a disease which there is not a whole lot of info out there because of the rarity of the disease, it is sometimes a trial and error situation when trying drugs that will help. I never feel rushed when in his office.

This was just a routine check-up for my medication, I wasn't sick or in pain.
