Life in Binghamton and Transitioning for Your Clerkship Year

Reliable transportation is a requirement for all students in their clerkship year. Public transportation will not have routes and schedules that accommodate all clinical sites. 

You will need to secure your own housing for your time at the 宾厄姆顿临床校区. The area offers a wide variety of affordable housing, from apartment complexes to units within residential homes. An updated list of apartment leads is posted to the 宾厄姆顿临床校区 Brightspace annually and all Binghamton-bound students have access.

• Binghamton 有六个区:市区, East Side (where the Clinical Campus is located), First Ward, North Side, Southside (Binghamton General Hospital is in this neighborhood), and the West Side (Lourdes Hospital is located here)
• Johnson City is home to the 宾厄姆顿临床校区 (located on the 5th floor of the Binghamton University Health Sciences Building) and UHS Wilson Memorial Hospital. Wegmans, Oakdale Commons and a WalMart are also in Johnson City.
• Endicott is popular due to its affordability and proximity to many clerkship sites, as well as the Endicott Performing Arts Center, Cider Mill, 还有很多当地的餐馆.

• Spiedies
